What are Preserved Flowers?

What are they advantages?

Preserved flowers are 100% natural products, that have undergone a preservation process to maintain their beauty and freshness with no need for water or sunlight. They are real, natural flowers that have been treated with a plant-based and biodegradable preservation liquid. No toxic ingredients are used. Preserved flowers have excellent value because of their long lifetime. Our arrangement contains high-quality preserved roses that last for months and years. They don’t contain pollen. Preserved flowers can be touched by pets and people. They do not represent a health hazard

How does the process of preservation look like?

The flower is harvested at the ideal point in terms of natural beauty. After, it enters a process to absorb a specific mixture of 100% plant-based and bio-degradable preservation formula. The preservation liquid replaces the sap and water within the plant, effectively forming a still-image of nature, creating a unique and 100% natural product, so that it can remain beautiful and unchanged for months without watering, light or maintenance.

What are the recommendation for preserved flowers care?

With the right care, you can enjoy your natural product for months or even years .

Above you will find tips for proper preserved flowers care.

  • Do not water the flowers

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 

  • Occasional remove dust, ideally with an air spray, air blower or alternatively dusting with a soft cloth, with care.

  • Avoid crushing, pressing or folding the foliage, petals or flowers

  • Only for indoor use.

  • The flowers do not need refrigeration.

  • Avoid exposure to humidity above 80%)

  • Do not place anything on top of your preserved flower composition .

  • Please note that the preserved flowers are not edible.

Although the colours are non-toxic they can sometimes stain objects if placed touching the flowers. Avoid direct contact with fabrics or walls. Darker colored flower placed next to lighter color flower may slightly stain it.  This is a common color run off and can be prevented by only placing similar preserved rose colors next to each other.

What is Tinatangi return policy?

At Tinatangi we really value You, our customers and genuinely care about the quality of your experience with us! 

Please note that due to our products being personalized for the customers and made using real, natural preserved flowers which are perishable items, we cannot accept returns, however in the unfortunate event that your box arrives damaged or the order is incorrect, please email us at info@tinatangi.com within 5 days of receiving your box with a description of the problem, a photo of the issue and a copy of your receipt so we can rectify the problem as quickly as possible. We can then offer you a replacement product or a refund.  Please note that in some instances replacement of the exact product may not always be available, however we will always endeavour to offer you a product you will be more than satisfied with. 

How long does it take to receive your Gift Box?

Our aim at Tinatangi is to satisfy our customers with swift and speedy delivery.  MAJORCA:

All the delivers around Majorca are for free!

And will be delivered within 24 -48 hours. On Majorca we work also on Spain bank holidays and on weekends. If you need a special speed delivery just let us know and we will try our best to deliver your gift as fast as possible!

SPAIN: Peninsula:

We process orders from Monday to Friday, excluding Spain bank holidays.  

All products are delivered by DPD courier at a cost of 6.95 euros per box for a standard delivery to peninsula Spain. We aim to have your product delivered within 4 working days of placing your order, however delivery times may vary according to your location and other geographical and seasonal factors.  

Should you require your delivery sooner please contact our team by email at info@tinatangi.com and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements where possible, in some areas we can offer next day delivery however we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible.  

DPD offer a tracking service so you can track your delivery and amend the time of your delivery to the delivery can be received by you or the lucky recipient directly. Please ensure to fill in the delivery details correctly. 

Where are you shipping the Gift Boxes?

Tinatangi currently delivers gift boxes on Majorca and peninsula: Spain addresses only.  Should you be interested in placing an order but live outside of Spain addresses (or on Canary Islands) please contact us by email at info@tinatangi.com and we will do our best to accommodate you where possible.

How the Gift Box will be packed?

All flowers & additional items are packaged in wooden gift boxes tied with a satin ribbon & a personalized card (colours of ribbon may vary according to the box, should you require a specific ribbon which we have in stock please contact us when placing your order).  Wooden gift boxes are packaged in sturdy card board outer boxes for delivery.

* If you are ordering a present for somebody based on Majorca the gift box will be delivered without a card board outer box, in an elegant way, to the designated address.

What is Gift Boxes cancellation policy?

Should you place an order and wish to cancel the order this can be done before shipping of your order, which is usually carried out in 24 hours after placing your order on working days.  Please contact us at info@tinatangi.com to cancel your order, in case of orders delivered on Majorca please contact as soon as possible calling us on +34 602 688 031, and you will receive a full refund to the payment card used for placing your order.  Once your product has been shipped/sent we cannot cancel your order.    

How can I pay for Gift Box?

Currently, Tinatangi accepts payment through the main credit and debit cards and PayPal. In case of deliveries in Majorca, you can pay by credit or debit card or in cash upon the delivery.
